Can't adjust the railing on the stairs

bit unsure if this is connected to the other railing issues but could you maybe post a pic ?

Also are you using mods/cc in your game ?

I play on xbox and am not able to place railings on one side of stairs or maybe just dont know how to. Help! Is there away to do this on console?

does it happen on all stairs ? Pics or videos/gifs would be great.

I found out that I was the problem. I was under the assumption out was a button or combination of buttons to adjust it is not. You must click on the stairs and then the adjustment shows. Its good for me I xbox!
