Can't enter households.

Hello.
Whenever I am trying to enter any household for one of my saves, it starts for like 1-2 seconds to enter, but I am then immediately tossed back to choose a neighborhood. It doesn't matter what family it the saved file I try to enter, the same thing keeps happening.

I have tried to do a repair several times, but the problem continues. I have tried to remove all my Mods and such, but the problem continues. I have created new gameplays where the problem is gone, but my Main gameplay remains unplayable 😞

I have waited for MONTHS to see if any new updates would have made the problem disappear, but alas, the problem remains.

I have a new computer, and the lagging that was a problem as well has stopped, but I can still NOT enter my household. So it's not an issue with the computer not being strong enough to handle the save.

What can I do? How do I remove the problem without having to start all over again? I have spent a long time building the generations.

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

Delete the ones you have

Trigger the error again

Check if new ones are created

If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

Do you mean the file itself or did you open the file with a editor on your computer and the copy the content and post it into a post here ?

Did you try deleting some of the messages you sent/received ?

A: Both.
