Mine just started having this issue. I will say it's just the planter boxes. I've been able to water the ones on the patches just fine. The planter boxes that are affected are the A-OK Bloomer Vertical Gardens. I have 2 and cannot water them. I'm going to get my sim handiness up and hope that I can get the automatic watering to work.
