I started playing with my sims again and I created a new save. I’ve been having this issue too. I’ve tried planter boxes and the garden patches from cottage living and my sim won’t water their regular plants but they will water oversized crops on the garden side patches. I’ve since removed the garden patches and planter boxes and just put my plants on the ground and my sim does water them this way.
