When i click adopt the sim just picks uo the dog and puts it down, ive tried on different worlds, loaded games, and new games, different houses etc. so it dosent seem to be a mods issue, this started...

I've had this issue since the update and I use no mods so it isn't a modded issue. The Sim will just stand there holding the dog for an extended time, for now just shift-clicking and resetting them will fix them but you won't get the dog.
- Similar topic (if not I can make a separate thread) but my Sim also did this in a different household trying to wash the dog, it was a small dog so she would pick it up and freeze in place except she would eventually set this dog down and just never give it a bath so I had to shift-click clean it with cheats. So maybe it has something to do with the Sim holding the dog.
- OH I just remembered that it stopped with "feel the love too" with the small dog, so it has to be something funky with picking up the dog to perform an action!
