When i click adopt the sim just picks uo the dog and puts it down, ive tried on different worlds, loaded games, and new games, different houses etc. so it dosent seem to be a mods issue, this started...

It's been happening to me also, both on PC and the steam deck. No mods, no cc. I've tested it in different save files. I've even tried it after completely reinstalling on both mediums, no old save files added. It really does not let me adopt. The sim will just freeze and then put them down.
