Sim uses they/them and the Grime Time moodlet uses she/her for them instead.
I verified that this is in fact a base game moodlet, just... Very rare.

When my sim gets a work event in their artist branch
So I recently started a save with my trans sim Ezra, he uses he/him pronouns and I just wanted to let you guys know he can’t be the amazing master criminal he wants to be in the criminal career because they keep mis gendering him ☹️ using she/her I just thought you’d like to know. This is on Ps4
after the word business, her should be capitalized because it's the start of a sentence. Same issue with the idealist's side trait
In the GTW Science Active career there is a task to complete on the day tourists visit the lot. One of the tasks is to hug a tourist and states "Find a sim outside of the lab and give him/her a hug." Instead of the neutral pronoun them like over tooltips in the game.
This isn't something that I have encountered personally, because I don't own the Life & Death expansion, but noticed when looking at the quotes on The Sims Wiki.
Esther Gomes' pronouns are xie/xem/xir/xirs/xirself. However, when xir sister (Tziporah Gomes) talks about xem, she uses xir pronouns incorrectly:
All the friction I have with Esther is so frustrating for me. I just want xir to understand why it’s so important for xir to live again. Xie thinks being dead is fine, and that the abilities xie has make it even better, but I can’t accept it. Because I can write, I decided that I would work towards being able to write a Book of Life. When I have one, I’ll be able to convince xir to come back. I know it. Esther will understand someday.
The use of "xir" in every instance here is incorrect, and should be "xem" because that is the object pronoun. If corrected, it should say this:

After exploring a crypt, the Life Affirmed moodlet uses "hers" instead of "her."
