My fairy Sim can’t put down her cat unless I debug her most of the time. I play on a gaming laptop with no mods or cc. Computer and graphic are up to date. It seems to happen no matter where she is on her lot.

Is it just the fairy Sim that's having issues ? Could you maybe test another Sim that's not a fairy ?
On your picture, the Sim doesn't have the wings out but to be sure they aren't just invisible: Is this in fairy or human form ? Does it make a difference ?
I'm having the same issue - seems to only happen in fairy form. Concealing fairy form allows the kitten to be placed down. While in fairy form they get the bubble icon as if there is no path to go to put the kitten down and just waive their hand in the air.
She is in fairy Forman’s none of the other type of Sims have this problem. And it does seem to make a difference if her wings are out. She doesn’t have the problem when they’re put away.
in the new enchanted by nature it seems my fairy sims are having trouble puting down my cats when flying. i play on pc
