[CONSOLE] Cheats menu getting stuck

You can bring up the save menu and go to manage worlds and reload into the household. But, it will keep doing it every time. But, you do not have to restart the game. 

The cheat box keeps getting stuck after entering cheats. It turns white and I can not exit it. I have to go to manage worlds and load back into my household. 

This is still happening. 

Having an issue when typing a cheat on XBox X. After I put the cheat code the game freezes on the cheat menu and it won’t let me exit out of it. I’ll have to restart the game. It has become very frustrating!!!

This is happening to me on Xbox too

on console whenever i type out a cheat, the area where it shows that its on pops up but nothing is in it and the cheats never enable. This is after the patch fix 

Ever since I started playing The Sims 4, I haven't been able to properly use cheats on my Xbox. I can turn on testing cheats, I can open the cheat menu for my individual character, but I can't use any manually typed in cheat.

I can't fully upgrade things like a dynasty, individual characters like werewolves and vampires, I can't open the live edit or hidden object menus. I've looked up nearly every code online, and none of them work. 

Is this specifically an Xbox thing? Can I not do things like that on Xbox? Are these all mods and nobody told me? What am I missing?

When I use left and right bumper & triggers to bring up the screen to type in a cheat/code, it doesn't close after pressing back meaning I have to force close the game. 

You can connect a wireless keyboard to your ps5 through the accessories menu in settings. Same process as adding a new controller.
