[CONSOLE] Cheats menu getting stuck

Just ran back into this issue. It’s happened twice today during my gameplay. I play on console 

Agreed. It's extremely tedious to play on PS5 these days.

They still haven’t fixed this i swear console players get the worst end of the stick with things sometimes. This always happens with my toddlers if i press the command bar it gets stuck

everytime i open the cheat menu, it freezes.  

Any update on this? After the last 2 patches, Oct/Nov 2025 it started happening to me, I've noticed its mainly happening on a large house and household, 2 adults, and twins.... This super sucks!

I’m on Xbox and I’ve been having the same issue the past two days. I have to save my game then go to manage worlds and back into the household for it to go away. It’s so frustrating 

I can't get off the cheat bar on my ps4 save,

 my sims family household and then I tried to put in the cheat bar : testingcheats on

but when I tried to get out and press the o button multiple times and the control button on the right of the stick just shows a screen with previous, next on the L1 (previous) and RI (next) doesn't do anything

and now I can't edit my sims anymore because of this bug

events instructions are not showing (even when there's event Ul's)

in my save I have growing together installed but when I have sleep overs, baby showers they're not showing or popping up does anyone have this issue as well?

I am currently going through the same bug of the cheat box getting stuck, it’s getting really annoying and i hope they fix it soon.

When I press the L1 R2 L2 R2 so I can put the bb.moveojects or any other cheat I get a white bar instead of a green one. When that happens I cant type anything in. The only thing it let's me do is press Options button which let's me save and then I have to restart the game. This only happens to me sometimes and I cant figure out how to fix it.

Hello I’m having issues with the cheat bar not going away 

when I want to use cheats the cheats will work but the bar will not go away I would have to go to options and go back to manage worlds to get the cheat bar to go away or use a certain cheat that takes me into Cas. Can we please look into this
