I play on a PS5 with a DualSense controller. Occasionally (although more frequently as of late) my controls will either stop working or the sensitivity will go through the roof. This is unique to UI or social wheel interactions.
If I lose controls, I just have to wait until they start registering again which can take a while. If my controls become hypersensitive, it's a struggle to select even the immediate next item in the UI. Either way I have to fully close the Sims in order to fix it.
I know its not my controller as this happens with 3 different controllers, and I know its not my console because this is the only game where this happens. No repro steps, as it happens at random, but it occurs maybe 2 out of every 5 times I play.
