I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

Game Crashes at Loading Screen After Patch 1.113.297.1220 – macOS 15.4.1 (Apple M2)
A few days ago i tried deleting a CC from my Mods folder and since then if the CC isn't in my folder my game WILL crash no matter what. Even after updating to the latest patch, The Sims 4 crashes during the loading screen before reaching the main menu. This happens even on a clean install with no mods, saves, or CC.
