I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

yes .. I have even re installed the game and the ea app, I still have the same trouble, my grandson says he gets a message saying ea servers are down ...
