I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

I am having this same issue. Removed Mods folder and repaired the game but the issue remains. Removing my saves did help but I'd like to solve it without having to sacrifice my current game.
