I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

I'm curious: Is anyone in this thread either on console or has never had mods/cc in ? There have been reports that enabling mods again, gets rid of the crashes.
To enable the mods without starting the game, follow these steps:
- Make sure the game is closed
- Open the file documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\options(.ini) with any text editor
- Find this line: modsdisabled = 1 and change it to modsdisabled = 0
- If you are using script mods, make sure scriptmodsenabled is also still set to 1
- Start the game and see if it works.
Please before enabling your mods, consult the current outdated mod list and update what's outdated: Broken & Updated Sims 4 Mods & CC: 1.114, April 29, 2025 Game Update | EA Forums - 12137249

Thanks for the feedback. To be sure, did you ever use cc on this save ?
You said below (or above depending on the sorting) that your save was wiped. Are you using onedrive ? Maybe the game is using another folder.
