I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

I was having the same issue. I removed my saves and I was able to open the game. I deleted the scratch_0144 folder and put my saves back, and now my game is working fine.
Hi! Where did you find the folder because I don’t think I have it?
In the saves folder there’s a folder called “scratch” I deleted the folder in that. The name might be different.
