I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

crinrict After the latest update (i play through steam which updates automatically) my game would open to the main menu, and then crash right after attempting to open my main save.
After turning off CC and script mods, exiting the game, moving my saves to the desktop, re-opening the game, turning back on the mods, exiting, moving my saves back, and opening the game again, then i can open my main save again without crashing.
But once I select a household to play, the game crashes again! :/ anyone have any tips??
