I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

! So I did the moving your save file to desktop. It loaded the game, but when I had removed the most current game version to see if it was that it now refuses to load my saved games. I’ve been trying for about an hour now to get my saved games back but to no avail. I put the save file I initially removed back in its place and my saved games still do not show up. What now ? :,(

I'm not sure I entirely understand what you did. All I did was take my entire Saves Folder and move it out of my The Sims 4 Folder and onto my desktop. I then just started the game and it loaded. From the Main Menu screen, without creating a new save or anything, I re-enabled mods, applied the changes and closed the game. Then I put my entire Saves Folder back into my The Sims 4 Folder and the game started, all my saves were intact and everything has been fine. I didn't do anything at all with individual save files. If you did, maybe that caused an issue?
In the first screenshot you have it shows the availability status as "Sync Pending". Could it be a syncing issue with OneDrive? Maybe there is a discrepancy and you need to sync. Check your recycle bins on both OneDrive and your Desktop and see if there are any files in there that maybe got accidentally deleted. I have OneDrive as well and it does not play nice with Sims 4. When I delete files, I have to constantly go into both recycle bins and also delete the files from there because OneDrive loves to take old files and overwrite newer files if you leave them sitting in the recycle bins.
I also do feel like people that have removed their Saves Folder, gotten the game to load, but then created a brand new save file in order to re-enable mods (as opposed to just doing it from the Main Menu screen) also subsequently continue to have loading issues.

Also, whenever I play Sims - I first pause syncing for OneDrive until after I'm done. I've had OneDrive start syncing while I'm playing and it has caused issues with the game.

I saw a comment on this thread that said to remove the save file to the desktop, and check if it runs. When I did, it worked! Then I put the save file back. So the comment then said to move each save individually to the desktop and cheek if the most recent save is what’s causing the game to crash. So I did just that, and when I tried to start the game none of my saved games loaded.. I thought it would load to my last saved games like the comment said. So I panicked and put the recent save I moved to the desktop back in the save folder. It still would not load any of my saved games💔 I’m not sure what happened either, I was just blindly following instructions and now I’m not sure what I did to mess up my game. I have no idea what happened.
