I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

The other day my sims game started crashing on the loading screen. I took my mod folder out, I repaired the game, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing works. It won’t even load to main menu.
Same here. I am using a Mac and am up to date on everything. I deleted all my mods and CC and uninstalled both the game itself and the EA app multiple times and nothing works. It crashes before it gets to the main load screen and then gives me a huge pages and pages long thing saying I need to report to Apple which I did but they said it is a EA issue. I’m stuck and very angry
Did you try the steps given in the box in the first post ?

If it still crashes with no save games, then you probably have a different issue and it's best to post in the tech forum of your platform, posting your specs.
