I just downloaded the recent update earlier in the day 4/29/25, which I presumed automatically turned off mods though I do play with a few script mods like UI cheats, MCCC, BBB and a UI color mod.

Ideas
I play on Xbox One and my game hasn’t loaded since the last update. It will either show the error: Sims took too long to load, please wait and try again, or if I make it to the load right before the main menu, it will crash. I’ve spent so much money on all the packs to not be able to play. :(
does it load with no saves ? Not really sure how it all works on XBox but this bug is related to removed tattoos and on Xbox you could only achieve that if you disabled/removed a pack.
