[DU] University Maid does not come when living in university dormitory
Issue Description:
When a Sim lives in a university dormitory (university housing), the scheduled maid does not arrive to clean the lot. According to the game's intended functionality for dorms, a maid should come once per week at no cost to residents. However, no maid ever appears on the lot.
Expected Behavior:
A scheduled maid should arrive once a week to clean the dormitory lot, at no extra cost to the residents. This is documented as a standard feature of university housing in Discover University .
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enroll a Sim at either University of Britechester or Foxbury Institute.
- Move the Sim into a university dormitory lot.
- Play through at least one full in-game week.
- Observe whether a maid ever arrives on the lot to clean.
Actual Result:
- No maid ever appears at the dormitory.
- Trash, dirty dishes, and other messes accumulate with no automatic cleaning service.
- The lot becomes progressively dirtier over time with no NPC intervention.
Additional Notes:
- This may be related to broader issues with service NPCs not functioning correctly on university lot types.
- The maid service for dorms is distinct from hiring a maid via the phone/service menu, which costs money and is available on any residential lot.
Impact:
Players living in dorms must manually clean the lot or rely on NPC roommates (who have hidden "archetypes" affecting their behavior) to clean, which is unreliable . This removes an expected convenience of dorm living and adds unnecessary maintenance work for the player's Sim.
