Employment Performance Bar Resets to Average

Another YA sim in the household (Raphael) just chose Bodybuilder career track, and he achieved a promotion to Personal Trainer. Now, he's maxed his promotion tasks and had a green check for promotion, but he just returned home (after I emailed you the files) and didn't receive the promotion and the wedge is just shy of setting off the green check again. 

I'm having the same issue. I'm not using any mods or cc in-game.  Im trying to get to level 10 of master apothecary and it just seems to get stuck on the yellow tick. When I log off and come back on it takes me right back to the start of level nine.

I think what OP means are the tasks you need to do to advance.

That's right, the task stays on complete and the yellow tick stays highlighted, not allowing you to progress to the next level. It seems to be from level nine to ten

Is this the problem? My sim is getting raises every single day instead of being given a promotion? 

Her performance bar is never exceeding the beginning of "good" before it resets to average. And yes, she is getting a raise every single day, even on days she takes PTO. I tried asking for a raise via phone before she went to work one day, and hoped that boost would make a difference, but she arrived at work with her performance bar reset to low average. 

All daily tasks are complete, sim is in a good mood and all requirements are met. Sim goes to work, performance reaches good or excellent. When the return home this resets again. Playing on ps5 no mods or cheats

Same is happening to me on XBox Series X.  I'm on level 9 of Conservationist career and keep getting raises (I'm now at +16) and my performance just resets to average at the end of my shift.  I tried working from home and doing the tasks and then going in the next day but that doesn't help.  Happy to try different things if anyone has any suggestions.

What is interesting is that the Sim I am using was a "super Sim" that already finished this career but I'm using a saved version of her from the library in a fresh save from before she reached level 10 of the career, so I thought I'd just finish it off for this save.  I think I saved her way back before Horse Ranch came out, so a long time ago!

I should also mention that I don't think the performance goes up unless I click on Careers and make the progress bar visible.  I could be wrong about that, but it seems to be at average until I click and then suddenly it starts clicking upwards, if that makes sense.

Same problem in this save file, character about to get home from work at good rating, only to get home and be reset to average without reason.
