Employment Performance Bar Resets to Average

After getting home from work the promotion bar goes down to where it was before going to work. I did not reach excelent and was not promoted. Totaly ok. BUT, the progress during the day is not saved to the next work session. Have tried several carrers and it is the same. 

My characters cannot get promoted beyond a certain point in their careers. They go to work and the little arrow showing progression ticks towards the right indicating a good day at work. But when they return from work, the progress resets back to the middle. No promotion, no raise, no nothing. I have no mods, I do not have any traits purchased from the rewards store.

She used to but I removed it once I noticed the bug. But it's still the same since then.

Update - I went back in the game to make sure her Entrepreneurial trait was removed, because I did use the cheat to do that last time. However, I don't think it worked last time because the trait was back again. I removed it again and made sure to see if my progress did the same as before, and I think this fixed it. 

I don't know why the cheat I used (the same one I used today) didn't work the last time. I don't know but this seems to work. Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated.

It's most likely the same issue as the other CGrant linked but currently tracked seperately.

Does your Sim have the entrepreneurial trait ?

nadiaventer​  This sounds like this bug which hits the Neuropath career mostly but has hit other careers.

Soo, I've went to different forums with this problem, tried everything everyone else said to get this right, but it's still not working. I have two sims in my household and my female sims' work performance bar keeps resetting to the middle every time she comes back from work. It doesn't increase and she doesn't get any promotions, only raises. I want to unlock all the career's locked items and I can't do it with her. Nothing seems to work and EA isn't helping with this issue. It's been more than 3 months - I don't remember when this started, I didn't realize until recently. Can anyone help with this? EA? Because I love playing this game but it's getting irritating now to play and the performance work bar doesn't increase, just decreases. 

Is there anyone out there that had this issue and fixed it? I've tried playing with another household and I left work early to see if that'll work. I don't have mods or anything else added to my game. 

Hi, are you still looking for info on this topic? I just experienced the same issue in the bodybuilder career. I've been given a raise so many times my Sim makes $1365/hour and the base pay for this position is $85/hour. Granted, i believe i went into it with a couple raises, but still. It has been a long time with many days of growth on the performance bar, but it just resets to average every day.

Has there been any progress on this? Started happening to me at level 9 astronaut, changed job, got to level 6 gardening and started happening again. No mods installed and only Seasons downloaded but had the issue before downloading seasons.

Helloo! I have a problem with being promoted at the careers, I can't go up from level 7. 

First of all, I bought the Entrepreneurial potion and everything was going well at the beginning, but when I reached level 7 it didn't let me ascend any further... The problem is when I do the daily tasks, you have to complete them if you want to have an ascension, the real problem is: when I raise the performance rank, the progress is reset from the beginning! 

With my other sims (who don't have the entrepreneurial potion) I have no problem getting promoted, It only happens to me with that Sim who has that trait active. 

Can you fix it? Pleeeaase, i want so bad my trophy of Captain of Industry 😭😭 (by the way, i play on PS4)
