I haven't seen this specific issue with For Rent mentioned before. I've experienced infinite loading screens when returning to live mode after building or downloading a lot. The game doesn't crash on my Mac, and the only fix is to force close the game. This issue arose again while creating a rental property, despite not encountering it since starting a new save a couple of months ago.
This bug affects not just Tomarang, but also Glimmerbrook and Brindleton Bay, specifically on larger lots. In Tomarang, it occurred on a 20x20 lot.

I'll add that as I've been replacing the lots on my save file I also got stuck multiple times in infinite loading screen and the game also crashed multiple times placing all kind of lots (residential, community, rental...) in any world.
In fact, as I write this I'm stuck on a loading screen trying to replace the Rustic Residence in Windenburg for the 100th time...
