Endless Loading/Crashing when trying to load a certain lot (broken object(s))

Ok, not sure if this is a related issue, but my game crashes when I try to enter the Alto apartments in San Myshuno, be it in live mode or build mode. They're the default Maxis apartments, and they crash even after I evicted the Sims who lived there. There is no last exception, the game just closes. I'm on DirectX9 so it can't be a crash from DirectX11. I'm afraid it's a corruption issue again...
