Had trouble getting the couple to perform vows at the arch. It says partner wasn’t near when they are both standing by the arch. Nothing was in the way. Had to restart game now for it to work?

It’s still an issue with Enchanted By Nature. The cocktailbar has the only public wedding arch, and ‘get married’ is greyed out.
My pregnant sim got the Money! Money! Money! call and decided to marry her romantic partner housemate (Johnny Zest). She proposed to him, and planned a custom wedding with just Exchange Vows and Spousal Kiss at the wedding venue in Tartosa. Get there, go to the arch, and Exchange Vows is greyed out because "Your Sim's engaged partner isn't around" despite Johnny being right there and the relationship panel saying they're engaged. Not only that, but they can't elope either, and when the ceremony was canceled, Get Married To... on the arch was also greyed out. But at least after the ceremony was canceled, Elope Immediately was back on the partner's pie menu.
When I want to get my sims married to a wedding arch, the option is greyed out saying the partner isn't around which they are around and both right by the wedding arch.
Try clicking on your partner sim, then click "more options", then click "actions", then choose "form group" and add your partner sim to the group, not anyone else. Then try clicking the wedding arch and see if it works for you.
I know we shouldn't have to do that but it is the only thing that works for me. Hopefully it will work others as well.
Got this issue with saying "partner sim is not around" while being there. Tried in group, having it in the household and whatnot, but nothing but "elope" worked. :S Have not experienced it before, I think. Oddly enough the to be spouse sim "went home" randomely when they had a nice time before - the "goodbye" turned up, but I queued another interaction to stop it from going away, and she stayed. But that made her "not around" somehow, since they couldn't take photos together because there "were no sims around" :S Maybe that's also connected to it. Last few days many sims leave lots very quickly and randomely - it seems to me.
My sims can't get married, when i click on the arch it says partner wasn’t near when they are both standing by the arch. The only way to get married now, is in tartosa, to get eloped at the courthouse.
This was just happening to me too... but I just found out how to get around it on accident, but you have to have MCCC installed. Basically you need to click on your sim and go to MCCC and click "Modify Household in CAS" and then exit out of it and then click on the arch again and it should work. I hope this gets fixed soon without needing a mod though :(
Actually, I think MAYBE it can work by just shift clicking and clicking "Modify in CAS" but I haven't tested it out yet
I noticed lately on my pc anytime i try to hold a wedding at the arch it says your engaged partner isn't here and yet they are standing right next to each other. I use no mods or anything.
I got my sims married, and when i clicked on the wedding arch « exchange wishes », it said « your sims partner has to be here » or something like that, but my two sims were here and the wedding event was in progress. Am I the only who have this problem?
