Fast Forwarding freezes game

Same issue I made a post before finding this. Was it linked to this? I’m new here, if I need to share the link let me know! And I’ll answer any questions I can.

Having this issue as well. PC mods disabled. 

It just dawned on me that there is small chance this could be helpful. I played almost all day yesterday (and started to feel things were cursed NGL).
I am for investigation sake going to lay out everything (even though something’s are not related to the bug I want to paint the full picture);

Incident 1:  I went to open my game, but my PC dumped the internet so I launched offline. However my cheat menu was bugged so I couldn’t type in MOO (I would type but nothing would show but all my hot keys worked fine) I’ve had this happen before and the only solution is to reload the game, but I didn’t do anything yet so I didn’t save.
Incident 2: I went online cause my PC and the internet made up apparently and opened my save back up and was placing things from my HH inventory normally I have methods of avoiding the lag that creates but I was just getting a couple of things out real quick so I thought it would be fine (spoiler it wasn’t), as soon as I clicked out of the HH inventory I got a “The Sims 4 Is Not Responding” message and the only option I was given was to close the program (obviously that progress was not saved)

Incident 3: I then opened my game again and finished my build and saved before going out of manage worlds Build Mode and into Live Mode. And all was fine for a while… key word a while.

Now for context: I usually leave my game open and play in my pockets of time. But it wasn’t until around midnight my time my game completely froze though and the bug occurred. But it was late so I went to bed and said screw I have back ups if something is wrong and I’ll deal in the morning, (this was a mistake my anxiety was high last night :| so many save corruption nightmares)

But It was only in hour in today that it happened It also be worth mentioning my sim is pregnant and I have a very big sims family (This baby and it’s twin cousins are gen 40) . And I should probably note that I wasn’t doing anything nuts like overhauling the world, getting a bunch of sims married, traveling, ect. Just having my sims go to work, skill build, and upgrade appliances while I waited on the baby to be born.

this is just me documenting stuff incase any of it becomes important later.

edit to add: I just remembered that I’m pretty sure one of my sims was feeding my ghost cow plants when the freezing happened (they were at least hungry both times) but I can’t remember if my sims was feeding the first time or not.

I played with two different saves after it happened last.
One was my Event save cause I decided to work on the event and test another save.

The second is just a random save that I’m playing in so I have spouses for my Legacy save that have skills and bonus traits 😅 

but neither of them have had the same problem. So far it’s just happening to my Legacy save. And all of these saves were made before the patch.

Edit to add: the saves I played yesterday after the freezing have aging off. My legacy save has aging on normal lifespan.

Taking my Sims to a 2 Day Vacation in Mt. Komorebi trying to skip through the night. The ingame clock stops at exactly 00:20 during the super speed due to my Sims sleeping. No keys execpt Esc work, also in Esc menu the shadows and sounds go on. Attempt to save ends in an endless saving animation. After some time the animation crashes and the game freezes. Shadows and sounds still going on and on. Only way to end the never ending saving screen is the task manager. Never had this severe problem before the update. Loading into the save again causes the same problem over and over. Impossible to play like this.

This started happening after recent update. The world time automatically stopped at 02:28 AM and:

• I cannot control the time anyone (stop/speed button does nothing)
• my sim is moving even the time stopped
• Going into build/buy and return back to live mode did not fix the problem
• Step back to world menu, then loading same household resulted in stuck boot loop (and I had to kill TS4_x64 process manually)

I think I saw similar report on EA bugs but forgot actual title. Feel free to merge this..... and this bug makes me unable to play the game you know.

You could go to "select world" menu, right? And try to save there (probably won't work though)

Everytime my Sims go to bed, my game gets stuck on 3x speed. Even if I pause the game it glitches and the time is still ongoing. When I go to the menu, it won’t let me save the game or exit. And with this glitch, I cannot play the Sims 4.

This is my first time submitting a report so I do apologize if I do this incorrectly. After the most recent hotfix my game has been freezing at exactly 12 am sims time when playing. It will show that my Sims are sleeping but it pauses and won't let me save, exit, anything. I have to restart my gaming laptop to force close the game. I originally thought it was a problem with mods so I took them all out, created a test save, and it still happened. I saw a post on FB about a fix coming February 19th and am wondering if this will be addressed. On the post I asked "Has anybody else's Sims been freezing at 12 am Sims time? My game is completely unplayable, with and without mods because of that" and received three responses of the same/similar problems. "Yes! My game freezes at midnight every time in sims time, I wasn’t sure if it was the game itself or the mod I have which is Mc Command Center.", "mine is doing the same thing! I wasn't sure if it was MCC or UI cheats", and "my game freezes at 3:00 am and 6:00 am every dang day and it makes me so mad. I don’t use mods."

Yeah its kinda similar. I tried to go to select world but the problem appears like described above..
