[FFQE] Week 2: Issues with Tasks

This keeps happening to me too, so annoying

are you guys using mods/cc in your game ?

I put the stuffed animal in my inventory, but it disappears when I go to the park

When I had to go to Sylvan glade with the plush, it just disappeared. 

My game froze with the photo task too. On Xbox Series X with all content installed. For me the inventory froze the screen up once the photos were taken and I tried to access them. I couldn't close the inventory (similar to the current cheat menu freeze up that's been reported that I also get). I switched to other Sims and their inventories were also open and frozen. I lost my cursor and kept trying to toggle it back on. I switched to a Sim that was at work (so his inventory was closed) a few times and that seemed to help, just pressing the cursor toggle button really and switching Sims and eventually it started working again. I closed my game down for the day after that. I can't test if this happens with all photos because they can produce an error code that wipes saves, so I'm not going to risk that.

Unfortunately taking and storing photos has caused massive problems for me (and others) on Xbox in the past so I usually avoid it. For that reason I wish it wasn't included in event tasks. 

On PC (EA app); mods/cc disabled. This happened to me twice; I went to take a photo to satisfy the event; I was able to take one photo, but then the game froze and I was not able to recover. I'm not sure if this is an issue with all photos or only related to the event photo (maybe something where the game is trying to check off the event task, while still in camera mode? But that's pure speculation). 

elenalilamartin I had to end up cheating the adoption to get that task marked off. 

I am having the same issue when attempting to adopt a cat. I tried in a new save and had the same cat disappearing/adoption event ending before I can adopt the cat happen. I have no mods/cc enabled.

are you playing with a fairy by chance ? If so, make sure to have her in human form

Having issues with completing the “” look for frogs” it won’t complete that task
