Footprints on the Ground

do you see any pattern when they appear ? Do you own seasons ? Do you have any residential lots nearby ?

Yes, those are real footprints, as if someone had walked through them. I even saw animal paws, like a dog, next to the footprint. As if someone had taken the dog for walk. I have the Pack Cats & Dogs. 
Yes I have the Pack Seasons.
I haven‘t found these footprints everywhere, but only in certain places: In Windenburg near the Library, at the Nightclub „Narwlas“, and at the cafe next door. There are no residental lots nearby. I have the pack Get Toghether.
On the World Map in Newcrest, the large plot of Land in the bottom right, and „only“ there. I don‘t see these footprints on any other plot of Land in Newcrest.
And now I also have these footprints in Nordhaven; See pictures.

All other Worlds are not affected.
Oasis Spings, Willow Creek, Horse Ranch, Growing Together, High School Years, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Cats & Dogs, City Living.

 
After fifteen hours of Sim time in live mode, I went back to Nordhaven via Manage Worlds and checked the lots in Build Mode. The footprints were gone.
Please belive me, I know these footprints will reappear. I speak from experience, from my last two years, when I spent a lot of time in Build Mode. I saw these footprints repeatedly in the same place, just because I was playing with my Sims from time to time.

Thanks. Guess not related to the objects bug then since that would require certain lot types. Also odd that they appear in build mode.

Well, something for EA to look into.

I first noticed these footprints in Build Mode.
I traveled there with a Sim to check if these footprints were also present in live mode, and they are.
I hope EA looks into this. For me, this is game-breaking now, as it affects the world Nordhaven. These lots aren‘t just residential, they‘re connected to business.

I'm not forwarding stuff. Just setting statuses. Maxis monitors this forum.

EDIT: Maybe I should explain this better. I basically do a pre-sort, making sure issues are not mod related or a misunderstanding or already reported or ask extra info. Once all is clear, I set stuff to review and then it's on Maxis plate to look into further.

I know you do a lot for the Community, with tips, help and testing.
I‘d like to thank you for that.

After about 5-6 hours of Sims time in live mode, I visited the aforementioned lots with the footprints via Mange Worlds, Build Mode.
Of course, the footprints were visible again. These don‘t show any pattern, as the footprints appear differently on and off the lots.

Since you can also see these footprints in live mode, that is, when I travel there with a Sim, it looks very unsightly and unrealitic, especially when the footprints go directly through the house.
I hope that EA and Maxis will look into and fix this Bug, as I consider it a game-breaking Bug.

Since the Patch from March 20, 2025, PlayStation 5, Version 2.11, the footprints no longer disappear. 😢
It no longer matters, no matter how long I play in live mode. As usual, these footprints appear differently on and off the lots. 
The day before yesterday I only had paw prints from cats on the said lots and surrounding area. 
Yesterday the footprints of the Sims could be seen walking through the starter house in Nordhaven again, like in picture Nr. 3 in the Bug Report. However, these were a little different. These Sims footprints could also been seen on all other said lots and surrounding areas. 
I also noticed that when I go to World Management, Build Mode, and zoom in closer to the property, these footprints spawn. This has been the case since the last Patch.
This for Information.

I was hoping that if I build a house there, these footprints would no longer cross the property. Instead, they would only be found outside. 
That‘s not the case! As you can see in the picture.
I noticed that these footprints always appear in roughly the same place, but in different formations.
I suspect this might be related to the Season Pack. 
When there‘s snow on the ground, you can also see the footprints of the Sims where they walked through. 
I hope this information will help for better understand this phenomenon.
