Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Windows
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Latest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a property owner living in one unit, and a tenant in the next. Problem arises, click on travel to unit. Work on problem, finish repairs and game says we didn't do anything. Or chose an expensive contractor and travel while contractor is "doing their thing" and game spits out nothing happened.
What happens when the bug occurs? After I fix the problem, I get a notification saying that I didn't do anything and as a result my rating went down, or it will say that the tenant fixed it on their own and as a result the rating went up, but it never acknowledges my input for fixing the issue.
What do you expect to see? The system generates a notification that I have resolved the issue in a timely manner and I get some sort of something. I honestly don't know what to expect because it has never worked properly so I've never experienced it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not sure, haven't really played with For Rent much.
Please describe the patch or change you made.
Same thing on my newly installed game. If I hire an expensive contractor and hold tight at my current location it usually finishes; if I leave early it will fail. If I travel to the lot to do it manually, I finish repairing and it says it didn't finish. I don't even remember how long this pack has been out but it's kind of long for a bug to still be around 😒.
