For so very long now, whenever there is an issue in my residential rentals..when I go to resolve them (IMMEDIATELY MIGHT I ADD) it automatically says that I FAILED to resolve the problem.
The timer isn't even up yet either. Even when I try and just get a contractor it always says I failed to resolve the problem. it's so infuriating. this happens even with different saves! I spent money on a pack that isn't even working properly why isnt this getting fixed?! - Merciless6617 months agoNew Spectator
I'm having the same issue. I have gotten multiple tenant requests and I immediately addressed them and fix the problem. Like I got an electrical failure so I went over and I fixed the fuse box then I went into the unit and replaced all of the items that were broken well within the time window and it said I didn't do anything. Another was a haunting, I went and exercised the ghost, and as soon as I exercise the ghost I got a pop-up saying that I didn't do it in time or I didn't resolve the issue. This is ridiculous and so frustrating. We put so much work into making these units and getting the five-star ratings and our rating her going down through no fault of our own.
Edited to add I am playing on PS5 and I have no mods or custom content at all. I never have.

This is still an open issue, making playing as a landlord impossible. Please fix this!

After resolving a maintenance event at a tenants house I always get the message that I failed to resolve the issue. This has happened for multiple events now. As a result, I cannot complete the 'handle a maintenance event' milestone of the five-star property owner aspiration. I play without mods.

I don't work for EA. I'm just doing initial reviewing. Once a bug hits review, It's on Maxis plate and I'm not involved in the process.

I'm having this same issue. All my quests (bugs or water leak) says I didn't complete it even though I personally took care of the issue. The clock doesn't even fully run out of time before I'm done. It just stops.

Same, console
i've just started using the expert maintenance person, but my Sim isn't too concerned about money... even though somehow the tenancy income has dropped to 88... And i had to replace the oven twice at 750 a time... and the pop up info on the right just got stuck again... oof so many annoying things about this pack... it's just not lucrative for Sims. At all

Guess what guys, people keep buying the pack even tho its been broken for a year lmao. It's not even funny at this point, I will personally start looking into this since EA is not doing anything. I might be back in a few weeks or maybe not

I think it's a bug but just wanted to check...
So my Sim bought a lot, built a unit, got a tenant... whenever the tenant complains, I shoot straight over with my Sim, BUT twice now it said within a few moments of arriving "nothing was done and so ratings went down" like ?!
My Sim isn't entirely concerned about any potential money loss, but like the second time was a ghost... I went to talk to it when it finally spawned, she started to yell at it and POOF
"nothing was done" even though the time bar had literally JUST started?!
