I also sometimes experience this and I know others in a FB group I'm a member of have also mentioned it.  You click on the item in the inventory and instruct the Sim to sell it and the action cancels.  Some people have said they have to buy a whole new mailbox for the interaction to go through.  I find directing my Sim to stand near the mailbox helps but sometimes I have to instruct them to do the action 5-6 times.  It's very inconsistent, though - sometimes it works and sometimes I have to do it multiple times until it eventually works.  Playing on Mac.

I have been noticing renting or owning a property or being a tenant or not that the plopsy issue is still occurring. I am unable to sell on plopsy 100%. It is kind of annoying.

found this bug awhile ago but hadn't been playing an unmodded save where I noticed it, so here we are now, lol

Okay so I can't edit my first post for some reason, but I forgot for half a minute how plopsy works. I can list it no problem. I can't *ship* on plopsy from the inventory with this mailbox on the lot. The action won't complete unless you have a second "normal" mailbox on the lot.

Same issue for me with the apartment mailboxes in San Myshuno.
