Hello, I am also having this issue. I repaired my game, deleted mods (even though i disabled them months ago before this happened), as well as moving the households out of newcrest. Originally when I was looking at the files, there were quite a few lastexceptions but I deleted them, ran the game again, closed it and it threw one last exception "lastUIexception".

did you ever get a white screen when loading the world ? I moved your post over to that thread as the LE is the same as for this thread.
Yes I believe when I clicked on the world it turned white and then it loads the world as a white screen with the worlds icon (which it wont let me click) and the options on the top (which I am able to click on ie like the gallery, the menu, etc)
