[FR] White Screen when loading world with residential rentals

I have the Sims 4 for Playstation 4, it's the most recent update available for the system. I made a rental residential lot with 4 units in newcrest, saved the game, and closed it. The next day I tried to open back into newcrest and when I selected it from manage world I got a white screen and nothing loaded. I could still open the options menu and gallery. I waited 5 minutes, nothing changed.

So I exited to the main screen, re loaded the game, went into a household and tried to travel to newcrest, same thing happened.

I exited to main screen again loaded a different save, and was able to travel to newcrest on the save that did not have the rental.

This issue is caused by bugged residential rentals and often happens when you change the lot type back and forth.

You can find a tutorial in my blog on how to fix it: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2020/11/mod-related-white-screen-when-travelling-to-new-world/ but the S4Studio one is still very experimental. I had it work and not work depending on the save.

Disabling for rent, then saving the game without it and then reinstall it is the best method although you will loose all content from the pack and it will reset the world. Some people also reported that doing this deleted the lot altogether (like there was no lot to build on anymore afterwards).

You do any fixes at your own risk so please make backups.

Yes I do have for rent and I built 3 residential rental properties and I worked so hard on them so im trying really hard to recover it

Yes I believe when I clicked on the world it turned white and then it loads the world as a white screen with the worlds icon (which it wont let me click) and the options on the top (which I am able to click on ie like the gallery, the menu, etc)

Whenever I cleick on the world copper dale whether its manage worlds, traveling with my sim, the world does not load and the screen remains blank. I have reinstalled my game and all the packs, repaired It and still nothing. Super bummed because I want to utilize the ferris wheel more.

I can click on the world Tomarang but it freezes onto a blank white screen. I can still see the return to world select button but cannot click it. The other options in the top right including the gallery, manage households, and settings menu are all interactable. I can still exit to main menu and interact with all those options, but cannot go back to world select. I can also edit sims that live in this world, but I can't actually play as them. I dont play with CC or Mods and I have the settings clicked off for those, tried repairing the game itself multiple times, attempted to start a new save to see if my current save is the issue, but this problem is consistent across everything I have tried. I was able to access the world last week but for some reason I can't now.

I’m experiencing this too. Residential Rentals. I’ve had to start a new game twice now. And one of those had years of play on it. All because a residential rental turns the world white. When I try to place from the gallery it won’t let me place on any lot as it says “lot not available” even though there’s plenty of space. When I’m in build mode and save a residential rental lot type it corrupts the world.
