Yes this has been happening on a semi regular basis for over 2 years and still EA seem to have no ability to fix it.
Worst thing is, we have no real viable alternative we can turn to.
Personally I have been searching the net for any other viable alternative to the Sims and can't find anything even close to what we have in TS4. So, we are stuck with a game that is getting worse to handle with each new update and """OhOhOH, I've got a good idea" from EA devs.
Ah well, I'm going back to sorting through all the mods I use and keeping what still works and finding replacements for what EA has wrecked this time.
