[CD] Game crashes when adopting cat or dog

Hey!
So my game has been crashing the past few times when trying to adopt a cat or a dog.
I currently play on MacOS, version 15.6.1 (latest for Intel Macs). This issue happened on a Windows PC too so it's not a Mac specific issue. 

My game is on the newest version as of right now - version 1.118.257.1220.
Normally I would just add the pet in CAS, but the problem is, that once again, it is one of the optional tasks in the limited time event "Forever friends" for free stuff. Last time it was also a the limited time event, before the release of fairies, when I tried to adopt a pet through the in game system and it kept crashing my game.

I play completely vanilla and keep the game and my OS up to date and this happened on separate save files, on 3 different computers - two Windows PCs and one Mac PC.

    Could you post your Computer's DxDiag? (PC)

    - Press Windows-Key + R
    - Type: DxDiag
    - Click on Save all Information.
    - Attach the Text File to your post

    I currently am playing on Mac so cannot do that, is there a Mac version of that?

    Okay, I managed to get the information remotely, hope it helps :)
    I'll also attach my Mac info.

    1. Are you running any antivirus or "cleaning" apps? No.
    2. Have you tried to repair the game in Origin/EA App? Yes.
    3. Do you use CC/Mods? I don't use mods.
    4. How much storage is available on your internal drive (or external if you are using one for your game)? I hace 350 GBs of free space left.
