Game crashes when saving custom tattoo

Syboulette Could you update your graphics drivers ? Don't think it will help but it's good to always have the newest ones.

My workaround for now is to not save the tattoo after finishing it, exiting CAS mode, then going back to CAS mode and then save the tattoo and it works that way...

It just happened to me, I'm playing on a PC right now, true, I have a lot of mods and CC, but it seems that even those who don't use mods and CC have this problem, so I probably wouldn't look for a bug there. I'm pretty pissed, I spent an hour of time tattooing and then the game crashed. A wasted hour!

I am having this issue on pc, but it is definitely a conflict in a mod/cc i have because it works on my vanilla game. When i have mods/cc, anytime i try to save a custom tattoo the whole game crashes.

I am having this issue on pc without any mods or cc in my game. 

I am having this same issue but I am on windows using EA app. I do not have any custom content or mods in my game at the time of this issue. 

Same problem here! Spent a lot of time creating a Sim, and colorizing a butterfly tattoo. Wanted to save the tattoo before I saved the Sim, but as soon as I click "save", Sims 4 closes without warning! Very frustrating! (BTW, the painting feature REALLY needs a way to zoom in even closer! It would help for us with older eyeballs! 👀)

Having the same problem - unable to share a save as it is happening on brand new saves when I create a Sim for the first time also.

Also experiencing this often with various sims, tattoo areas and all the like. Everything is updated. Game repaired multiple times with localthumbchache cleared and so on. Still crashing almost every time I try to save a custom tattoo. Occasionally also when applying one from the gallery.
