Grim stuck

My sim died she was a fully qualified Reaper and when she was about to pass on, I wanted her to pass away in bed but, grim wouldn't let her. He kept on reviving her in her bed. It took ten deaths before I had her get out of bed to die on in the undignified position the floor then she was reaped. Finally eleven times it took. Now Grim is hanging around waiting for someone to die as none of my sims can communicate with him. He's just made himself at home. I saved my game. Had a funeral for my deceased sim and saved my game and then exited the game and when I reopened my game. Still Grim will not leave. He's sat watching TV, playing with the pets and I cannot make him leave using MC Command Centre. It's frustrating. I can add him to family but that won't do at all will it.

This exact same issue is now occurring for me ever since the November 4th update. First I had Skip Broke in my household and he was dying of old age. Grim reaper arrived and stood next to him but would not reap. Ability to plead for life was not available. I was able to “resolve” the issue by resetting Skip, but what happened was he disappeared, Grim disappeared, but no gravestone was available. I checked inventories and everything. This occurred a second time - now with a pet cat. I have not been able to resolve this because I’m not able to “reset” the cat. I left the game unsaved at that point and returned. The cat died again and Grim is stuck again.

My Sims are dying for hours on end, grim comes and just stands there for days not doing anything!!! It's so annoying, you can't save or build etc. so you have to quit and start again! Sometimes I just want my Sims to die ffs

I am also currently experiencing this issue on xbox (with L&D installed). It was not a problem until two patches ago but grim seems to stall on site. If I reset the dying sim, I get the popup to choose whether the ghost will be played or free-roaming but there is no urn left behind. (NOTE: the urn appears properly if I trigger a funeral event for the dead sim) The most upsetting part of the glitch is that it erases the storytelling opportunity to run plead interactions with Grim by completing the death when player chooses to reset.

I've had this happen today, but found shift-clicking my sim and resetting them made the "<your sim> has died" box pop up

My Sim recently died in his sleep </3 but I had to reset my game five times for it to actually process- I would get the pop up, the animation played, Grim showed up, and... nothing happened. The game continued running, but was stuck in the "sim is dying on lot" so I could not build or save. 

I eventually got him to get reaped by completely closing the game and restarting (3 tries)- making sure he didn't die in his bed- but when he was finally reaped (which again took hours in game with Grim just... standing there) I didn't receive an urn or a gravestone until planning a funeral. 

I have MCCommandCenter but the issue still persisted when disabled. 

Hello, when my sim has completed the circle of life., they die and everyone is sad, but the Grim reaper either turns up and does nothing or doesn't turn up at all. This then becomes problematic within play as I cannot save any progress beyond this and no one can travel. When I've tried to interact with the Grim reaper, I can't because the 'reaping' hasn't taken place yet.
