I’m playing The Sims 4 on PS5 and I noticed that when an infant maxes out their skills and gets the “Top-Notch Infant” trait, they age into a toddler with some skills already at level 2. The issue is that many toddler milestones like “Learn to Run” or “First Words” don’t unlock, probably because the game doesn’t register them being learned properly. Since I’m on console and can’t use mods or cheats, there’s no way to fix or trigger the missing milestones manually. It’s frustrating because it affects legacy gameplay and progression. I hope this gets looked into or at least a workaround is provided for console players.

Instructions can be found here. Please also include a link to the thread the save is for.
Thanks!

With Toddlers you can earn various Milestones as you raise your skills. However if you aged up from an infant and you started with points already in those skills I find that your Movement Skills dont show the appropriate milestones. In my case I started with 2 points when I aged up now at max movement I only just unlocked learn to dance and can not get Learned to Run milestone due to this fact. Is there an actual Fix for this issue. there used to be a work around but it seems that was removed leaving players like myself stuck never being able to get the last milestone. I have attached 2 photos one showing I am movement skill 4 and the other only showing that I have obtained 2 of the milestones for movement

I sadly, don't think they are gonna fix this. I too am playing on a console and I haven't been able to get a lot of the milestones for my toddlers either. It's frustrating we pay money to get these packs to enhance our game play and we can't do many things because there's too many glitches or bugs they don't seem to get fixed.
EA_Cade I don't understand how to send a private message, but added very prepared files here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ey9mIwmtLlg3fA3Ci-vfjHE3X4-w8T8j?usp=sharing

I found that when I complete all of my infant milestones those extra skill booths I get conflict with gaining milestones as a toddler. Most milestones I have issues with are the motor where I either can't unlock Max motor or learning to run. Cognitive study letters/number also glitches and become unattainable.

I currently play on Xbox and have been having this same issue. When aging from Infant to Toddler my Toddler will start with Movement Skill Level 2, when leveling up further the game doesn’t register that those 2 levels have already been attained and so when gaining milestones the movement milestones always stops after achieving Movement Level 3 despite maxing the skill.

In toddler skills, if you reach level 5, you still don't have all the milestones from that period. Even if you reach level 5, you won't unlock "learned to climb stairs"; you have to undo the skill and reach level 5 again. It's the same with thinking - reading. Please fix this.
