While I was playing in the scientist career in Get to Work, my sim got abducted (as they typically do), but when they came back, I was suddenly unable to do anything in Live Mode. I couldn't switch sims, double/triple speed, or even zoom out using my mouse, and my sims were completely unresponsive, aside from idle animations of them simply standing, so it wasn't an entire freeze, and time wouldn't pass. Even attempting to exit the game would go unresponsive, as well as trying to save would put it on a never-ending loading screen.
I did all the typical things to do in this scenario, removed all CC, repaired my game, removed the localthumbcache file, and nothing would work. I've moved this household out, changed lots, etc. and nothing seems to be working.
Not sure if this is a post-update glitch, or if this is just me.
