Houses/Lots Disappear

Hello, for the past few months I've been having an issue where everytime my sims visit a lot, it disappears. On top of that, the empty lot gets changed to residential.

At the beginning of a new save, everything works fine. My sims can travel without any problems, and no lots disappear. However, after playing that save for a while, every lot they visit starts disappearing. Even the special lots have disappeared, including the ones players aren't normally allowed to delete.

The residential lot where my sims live never disappears. the only exception is if I add a small business to that lot, then it disappears as wel.

I've repaired the game several times, but it hasn't fixed the issue. I play on PC.

I do use mods, although I've disabled them several times to check for conflicts. I don't use cloud.

Does anyone know if there's a solution or anything I can do to fix this??? It's really frustrating because I can't even enjoy weekly events like the Full Moon Festival or things like camping trips, everything just disappears...

To Noebn, I have a similar problem and I do not have an answer, but I will tell you how I handle it. I have a very large save that is a few years old. I keep a backup of my save file every two weeks, so I never lose more than two weeks worth of playtime. I delete all large lots that I am not using. The more vacant lots in your game, the less likely the game with error. I delete half the game NPC's every time just before I turn the game off. I keep only the NPC families that have lore attached to them. At least once a week I check that the houses I put in Willowcreek have not reverted back to the game default houses. if they have, then I go back a day on my save and use recover, until I find a save file that still has the Willow creek homes which I put there and are not default. If a particular lot keeps glitching badly, the only way I know to keep the whole save from disintegrating is to delete that one expansion pack from your game (James Turner has a method for that) start the game up with out that world. and then after a game restart add the expansion pack back in and start fresh. Just be aware that can delete many things from your game that were part of that expansion pack. Good luck.
