Issue
The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots.
This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tie...
Ideas
Looking for help - My sim lots are all gone! I have years and years of detailed lots that are no longer there. My family loads up and they just stand on an empty lot. My map shows no lots on the land and then some lots show the house. but when you load the family, the lot is gone. I am playing on a PC. So far I tried:
- repairing the game multiple times.
- I have tried to load past saves to recover.
- I have tried going into my save files and locating slot_00000001.save and dragging it onto my desktop.
- I have tried going into my sims4 file and deleting localthumbcache.package. file.
- I have contacted EA chat and they told me to contact the forums, so now I am here.
Please let me know how I can get my houses and lots back. They mean a lot to me.

I've been having this problem since April of this year, and submitted a report twice in the Houses/Lots Disappear thread. I also reverted to previous saves and repaired the game more than once only for the glitch to come back like a boomerang. It's gotten to the point where I'm taking a break from the game until this gets fixed... whenever that will be. 🤷🏻♀️ (And there's no way that I'm starting my main save all over from scratch.)
Thank you for responding, and I am so sorry to hear that you are going through the same issue. It's literally insane... I don't understand how EA games doesn't have information and help for us! A patch? Update? Nothing... that's so unbelievable. (gotta vent for a sec because I'm so mad about this)
