I just got the new life and death pack and when I opened my game and went to look at the lots in the new world. When I opened the specter house in build mode I got a popup saying one item was removed from the build because it does not exist in my game. It's the same popup you get when you place a build from the gallery and you don't have all the packs that are used in the build. I thought this was weird as it's only supposed to use the base game and the life and death pack. I didn't see anything obvious wrong with the build but it could have been some small decoration.

Had the same message at the specter house in live mode. I own all the packs so.....weird...
I got the same, but for me it was several objects removed. Can't remember how many exactly but also found it very weird. I don't own all kits though so if something from basement or bathroom clutter was used even if it was a debug item then that might explain it.
The Sims 3 Rewards plumbob light was used on the lot.
It gets removed when you don't have that one.
It shouldn't break anything other than that you don't have the lamp

It's a non-issue though. It's just the lamp that gets removed. Problem solved, Guess the creator of the house wasn't aware that the lamp is not something everyone has.
There's so many bugs that have real impact.
The only thing I don't have for TS4, is many of the items that were perks from having TS3. I own all DLC for TS4. So yeah, it's annoying. Fortunately, it seem to only happen once. Maybe the creators should only create with Basic Game and the EP / SP content they are working on? Just a thought ... 😁
Yeah, I guess they weren't aware. I did forward a list of items that shouldn't be used for next time :D
