I have seen the same thing happen. The temple layout stayed the same but sometimes a riddle to solve was swapped out with a different one. I thought this was intentional design.
The emotion pressure is the rarest of all. In a few dozen temple visits I only encountered it once or twice. (I don't mind because I don't like this particular riddle)
