[LD] Edith the Ghost Replaced by Random Sim

How did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you disable them or remove your mods folder ?

Did you also test a fresh save ?

What platform are you playing on ?

I also have this same problem, how can we resolve it? Edith won't leave my lot after I talked to her and is just a random sim.

I removed them from my folder. The problem didn’t happen on a fresh save. I’m playing on PC. After interacting with this random Sim, they disappear and come back as Edith after a while. Odd. Oddith. 😅

I also encountered the same problem I tried to put Edith where she should be, saved the game, exited the game, and reopened it, and I still encountered this problem

My sims lives in old Ravenwood estate and every time I notice a random sims by the fence looking at my sims'😰

It was 1am when I commented on this bug, and it made me a little creepy.

This is happening in my game also. Currently have no mods installed. Did previously have Better Build Buy installed but it has been turned off and then removed. The Sim will have their own name and appear as a live sim but will have the functionality and movements of Edith.

I’m having the same problem since the update. 

I don't know when exactly did this happen, but after the update I came to the Well with a new sim and discovered that Edith had been replaced by some new random sim who had creepy animations of "ghost child" (body and limb distortions included). That sim wasn't even a ghost! Just some creepy woman with flying "ghost" animations. No cc or mods in my game - it's totally "vanilla". And of course all the relations with the previous Edith have been "erased", though the sim gives the same interactions as "Edith". This is all so upsetting.
