This happens to me, too. I've never seen a positive moodlet come from this action, which my sims also do constantly autonomously. I've never once told them to, but they won't stop going up to look at the heirloom, and then they get angry. I didn't even know emotions could be attached to wills, so I don't think it's that lol. The original owner has moved on by now, so that might be it? But they definitely all had a good relationship with her.
