Happens most of the time. I complete all tasks on assignment on reaper career, until it only says return to office as a task. Then, option to return to office does not appear when I click on my sim. Have tried resetting my sim and it still does not appear.

Hm, that was my test Sim was too. Guess the level doesn't matter than and something else is triggering this.
Does it depend on the task your getting ?
I am also getting this bug. This is only really happening for me if my sim has to reap a soul from a sim. My sim is able to reap the soul, but upon being told to go back to the office, the option to go back doesn’t appear.
I’m also having this problem, I’m level 6 with no mods or ccs, had this happen multiple times, one time it said it would not let me travel due to someone dying during the cowplant job, and then i can’t travel back during the reaping a soul assignment.
I have the same problem. I'm currently at level 2. New save and no CC.
After some testing, it seems that this bug happens when the task is to harvest souls. In the tasks of collecting lost souls and/or closing portal, I did not notice this behavior (for now).
I'm having the same issue. It worked fine for the first few levels of the career, but now the option doesn't appear anymore and I'm stuck on the lot I was assigned to until the workday is complete. Edit: The option appears fine after being done with cowplant emergency assignment, but it's bugged when the assignment is to reap or revive a single sim.
I'm having this same thing issue right now. I'm Level 3 and just finishing up my day by reaping my first person in evergreen harbor. The very last item is to return to the office and I don't have the option to return to the office. I am using one mod.
