Legacy Family Trees: Tree collapses/Overlaps/ Wrong connections (1.121.361)

That’s their current family tree, they’re not related at all and at the bottom is how I started my game with this family. 

I even tried a different family and made them siblings and it worked. For some reason it just doesn’t work with my current family. 

It also happens for me, i sent my save for checking whats going on with the overlaping lines and the disapering sims in my families.

I have the same problem. So far, what I've seen is only in the main family where there is an error with two married sims who appear as sisters, so it changes the entire family tree. It's a problem when playing because there are actions I can no longer do. They even had a wedding and have daughters. help! :c

My multi year game turned my married sim4 parents with 4 kids into brother and sister.   there has NEVER been a mod loaded in my game.  tried suggested fixes out there.  didn't work.   loaded a back up save from Jan 20 and it had them as spouses.   Excellent!   Saved it....and they became brother and sister again.   So frustrated with Sims4,  I deleted both saved games.  Reevaluating if I will play Sims4 again.  way too many bugs for a mature game. 

This is what it should look like. I was able to import them from my library to a completely new game and make the brother again  but still annoyed that now they don’t have a relationship with anyone else in town 

Looked at my current biggest family tree today (5 gens but plenty of cousins and whatnot), and I had overlapping too. I was also missing stepparents. One of my sims in the main household has a daughter with a man, then a son with her current wife. If I click on the daughter, the current wife disappears and dad replaces her instead of showing all three parents.

After the release of the new expansion, I decided to try merging the Laurent family with Fabrizio Capuleti (I wanted to do this either using a developer cheat or the new board). I've been playing this save for a long time, so after the update that changed family trees in old households, there were no changes. But it came as a big surprise to me that the Laurent family tree is broken. In short — Arnesse Tibi now has a hidden son, and she supposedly gave birth to Hector Laurent through him. I don't know how to fix this, and I doubt it can be done using a developer cheat.

My family trees are getting better after the Feb 12 update, and there's no overlapping, but it has become way wider, and dead sims are still coloured. Also, I have some family trees that are so wide that it leads to nowhere.

By the way, does anyone share the same issue I am dealing with right now? The forum is CAS cousins, piblings & niblings not treated as family/can romance in some cases

Agreed, I have mentioned that they should provide both options before the update, and even options like MyHeritage or Ancestry where you can focus on one branch
