i'm also having an issue with this event. specifically after i go to the library when i get the task to go home my game freezes. i cant select my sim or any other sims in my household, i can go into build mode on the lot but if i try to go to manage worlds or to save my game it just loads indefinitely. i'm stuck at this point in the quest, i've now played up to this exact point three times and the same thing always happens at the exact same point, i literally cannot go home from the library lot which i have not modified in any way. i guess i'll try in a new save tomorrow but this is really frustrating.
could be related to the save. There's quite a few freezing issues going on. Does your game speed up when you get there ? There's a known freezing issue for fast forwarding.
It's probably best to try a new save.
nope, it runs totally normally up until the point i try to leave the library. its really weird, i've never had an issue like this.
perhapsthebees Do you have the same issue in a new save ?
