I tried switching to a different household to see if that would fix the issue but when I switched back, the previous household was still acting as if the Regal Residence Lot Trait was still equipped.

Two of my Sims just spent around 2 sim hours after they woke up 'celebrating' the overnight spam of the residence going above and below $250,000. I'm just glad it was Sunday as one of my Sims has finals Monday and I don't want her to miss one. The first time I got this bug was on a regal residence, and only during skillful sleep. Since then, my main Sim, who has since added and subtracted family members, has moved 2 different times, neither of which had the Regal Residence. I have removed mods, repaired the game several times, and this is the worst it has been since the first time I got it after skillful sleep.
I keep getting the property value notification - excessively... The adult sims in the household will then continue to celebrate or be angry repeatedly with the notifications until I reset them. Then it happens again in moments - I give them tasks to do, but they just get stuck being repeated happy then angry. Doesn't seem to affect the child in the household.
I have tried removing that lot trait - still happens.
Will try removing mods.
I found a fix through some trial and error. You'll need to have cheats enabled for this. On your affected Sims, enter the following cheat code.
Traits.remove_trait regalresidence
I'm having the same issue except I had the regal lot trait equipped on another house. The teenager living there moved out and is now plagued by the constant notification... the teen also gets stuck in a loop where they just keep getting confetti over their head for every notification... it's very annoying. Reset Sim is a quick fix to break the annoying chain of confetti, but the notifications constantly pop up...
I am also experiencing this problem on my PC. The notification is popping up all the time and I mean all the time, and giving just one of my sims the accompanying moodlets. I've taken out all the lot traits but I'm still experiencing the issue. I do have mods installed.
I’m having the same issue. Their lot is worth over $600,000 so the value isn’t actually going under. The sims can’t do anything because they’re repeatedly doing the animations that come with the lot value going up and down
Im getting the same issue. I had to take off the lot trait so it wouldnt keep happening and replaced it with the one from get famous... i think its bugged but no fix
I use 0 mods or CC. I don’t currently have it enabled in any of my worlds, but every time my Sims have guests over, it triggers the Regal Residence Lot trait pop-up.
It’s not active in any households. I turned it on once, then removed it, but ever since then it keeps triggering whenever there are parties, guests, roommates, tenants, or stayovers. Basically, any situation involving visitors causes it. It seems like the trait or feature is still being applied somehow, and the pop-up appears repeatedly.
I’ve tried repairing my game, restarting, cleared my cache and even starting a new save, but the issue still happens.
For reference, I’m playing on a MacBook with an M2 chip and 16 GB of RAM.
Also having this issue; all mods turned off. This is the first time I'm using the trait and I'm getting bombarded with notifications.
I get this bug, everything happens in ciudad enamorada.
Two sims were living in a regal residence. she was queen so he become king. They divorce, he wasn't king anymore. I move him to the appartment in Ciudad E and i get the bug. The lot trait was not on this new lot.
To remove the bug, i add the lot trait then remove it and it was ok.
